By Irene Larraz, Newtral

The HYBRIDS project is celebrating its fourth joint research event, designed to enhance the professional and personal skills of HYBRIDS PhD candidates with a special focus on transferable and cross-disciplinary competencies in artificial intelligence.

The Centro de Investigación en Tecnologías de la Información y las Comunicaciones (CITIC) at the University of A Coruña will host the event from April 21 to 25, aiming to provide participants with an expert, realistic, and comprehensive understanding of the competency needs in the field of hybrid technologies research.

This initiative reflects HYBRIDS’ commitment to fostering innovative research practices and addressing the evolving challenges in hybrid technologies. By bridging the gap between academia and industry, the event will explore how advanced AI tools, such as natural language processing and deep learning, can be integrated with human intelligence to combat disinformation and hate speech.
