HYBRIDS Doctoral Network is offering 11 fully-funded PhD positions. Supported by Horizon Europe Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions and UK Research and Innovation, this is an incredible opportunity to tackle disinformation in democracies.
The project aims to develop hybrid intelligence systems that integrate human and machine intelligence to overcome the limitations of existing AI methods. Each candidate will be enrolled in a doctoral programme at one of the partner institutions and participate in secondments with academic and non-academic partners.

By combining the power of human and machine intelligence, the HYBRIDS Doctoral Network seeks to combat the increasing danger of disinformation in democratic societies through the development of hybrid intelligence systems.
Each of the 11 doctoral candidates will be hired by one of the partner institutions through which they will be enrolled in a doctoral programme. The HYBRIDS consortium, coordinated by the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela, involves partner universities, leading research centres, non-profit organisations, and innovation companies across Europe: Université de Caen (France), Universidade da Coruña (Spain), Universidade de Évora (Portugal), Radboud Universiteit (the Netherlands), Queen Mary University of London (UK), Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Cientificas (Spain), Fondazione Bruno Kessler (Italy), GESIS-Leibniz-Institut fur Sozialwissenschaften (Germany), Fondazione Openpolis ETS (Italy), FEUGA-Fundación Empresa-Universidad Gallega (Spain), Factoria de software e multimedia S.L.
